SpliceLog Pro

SpliceLog Pro is a web-enabled Call
Logging/Management application, specifically developed
for maximiser. This allows information to be
viewed and reports to be run locally, or remotely
through any standard web-browser.
SpliceLog Pro allows every phone call to be logged,
checked, costed and stored automatically. Outgoing call
statistics gives Managers all the information they need
to control their own telephone budgets. Incoming call
records show if, when and where calls are being lost and
how long users are taking to answer their calls. Line
usage is also monitored so it's easy to see if more
trunk lines are required - or if you're paying for too
many! Reports can be generated at regular intervals and
delivered by email. SpliceLog allows a wide range of
Management Reports to be generated including; Trunks
Busy, Call Geography, Top Call, Incoming Call Analysis,
Target Responses, Frequently Dialed Numbers, Extension
Usage & Customised Reports.

SpliceCom provide integrated Call Recording as
standard on maximiser. Inbound calls to an Individual,
Department or Group can be recorded automatically, with
a choice to record all or a percentage of calls.
Recordings are then forwarded to a mailbox, where they
can be played back via a phone. Call recording details
can be viewed visually on a PCS 410/PCS 100 IP Phone or
PCS 50 IP Softphone or Phone partner. Alternatively call
recordings can be copied or forwarded to any email
account.
Call Recording Management
The ability to manage recordings is an integral
feature of the SpliceLog Pro call management system,
allowing all call recordings made on maximiser to be
exported, stored, sorted on a wide-range of
criteria, and played-back.

maximiser provides integral
voicemail on both the 5100 and 5108 Call Servers. Each
5100 Call Server supports 4 to 16 concurrent calls and
1,500 hours of recording time, whilst the 5108 Call
Server offers 2 to 8 concurrent calls and 500 hours of
recording time. Need more than this? Just run the
maximiser voicemail application on a LAN attached Linux
PC or Server.
Even today's entry-level PCs will provide support for
around 30 concurrent calls, while a 40Gb hard disk will
store well over
1,000 hours of voicemail. And because maximiser
is built around a distributed architecture, you can run
multiple voicemail services, which can be centralised or
spread across multiple-sites.
Email, SMS, Caller Display and even paged alerts can all
be used to notify employees of new voicemail messages.

The maximiser Voice Processing
application runs the following functions;
The 5100 Call Server is supplied with 4
Voice Processing Ports as standard, whilst the 5108
Remote Call Server comes supplied with 2 Voice
Processing Ports. This capacity can be increased to 16
and 8 ports respectively. For higher density
requirements, the Voice Processing application can be
run on a networked Linux PC or Server where, depending
on the specification of the platform used - it can
support up to 120 concurrent voice processing ports i.e.
could conduct a conference with up to120 participants.

SpliceCom maximiser
The SpliceCom hardware named
maximiser
is modular, extendable and easy to manage. Two core components are all that is required to build a single system be it standalone or a multi site solution
from 4 to 10,000 extensions. For smaller standalone sites or for small remote offices a
third module, the
5108 Call Server is all that is required.
SpliceCom have a range of
telephones that complement the maximiser and allows users to utilize their business telephony system with the ease and proficiency that we all do with our mobile phones.

5100 Call Server
At the very heart of the maximiser
architecture lies the Call Server. PBX,
voicemail/auto attendant, Voice over IP (VoIP)
Gateway and Gatekeeper, SIP Proxy Server, DHCP
Server, Apache Web Server and LDAP database are all
fully integrated and housed within the 5100 Call
Server, which is supplied as a single, slim line
unit. The 5100 Call Server also supports an
extensive range of Trunks and Wide Area Network
(WAN) services; 2 x 30 channel Primary Rate ISDN
(PRI) interfaces, Quad Basic Rate ISDN (BRI) (8
channels) and LAN connectivity to enable H.323 and
SIP IP trunks to be provisioned. Up to 16 analogue
extensions can be directly attached, whilst a four
port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch provides Power over
Ethernet (PoE) to IP Phones supporting the 802.3af
standard. A single Ethernet Link port allows
connectivity to external LAN switches, allowing a
higher density of IP Phones to be attached and IP
Trunks and WAN Services to be accessed via external
routers. For more detailed information please visit the maximiser encyclopedia.

5108 Remote Call Server
The 5108 Call Server extends the cost-effective
reach of maximiser down to the branch offices of
larger organisations and meets the standalone
requirements of smaller businesses. Identical in
features and functionality to the larger 5100 Call
Server and housed within a half-size enclosure, the
5108 Call Server provides support for 4 analogue and
4 IP Phones, delivering the very same advantage and
benefits as larger maximiser systems.

5300 Analogue Module
The Phone Module is available in two variants,
providing connectivity for up to fifteen (5315) or
thirty (5330) analogue devices. These can be
traditional analogue (POTS) telephones, fax machines
or modems. Typically used to connect SpliceCom's PCS
10 and PCS 5 system phones, the
deployment of 5315/5330 Phone Modules provides
un-paralleled investment protection where standard
analogue phones are already utilised, whilst
allowing the overall capital cost of a maximiser
system to be minimised. These phones can then be
further energised by using them in conjunction with
the Proactive Communication Station (PCS) 50
application, which runs on a desktop or laptop PC as
a partner to the analogue phone, independent of the
operating system - Windows, Mac OS X and Linux are
all supported..

PCS410
For voice communications, the PCS 410 provides all
the facilities associated with a top of the range
digital phone for making and receiving calls. It
then extends the control and information associated
with these calls through an integrated, full-size
VGA, LCD touch screen. Where business phones have
traditionally provided context sensitive keys around
a small display to aid use, the PCS 410 provides a
far larger, context sensitive screen. This includes
the ability to display IP Video/Web Cam images and
share graphical information whilst at the same time
talking. For example, a call from a door entry phone
could trigger the image from an adjacent IP Video or
Web Cam to be displayed on the screen of the PCS
410.

PCS100
Developed by SpliceCom to meet the traditional
telephony needs expected from a maximiser
"system phone," the PCS 100 provides the optimum
balance between quality, features and price.
Extremely easy to use thanks to its clear display
with eight context-sensitive keys, the PCS 100 also
provides six pre-programmed keys for the most
commonly used telephony functions. Its conventional
design, combined with reliability and versatility
make it the ideal choice for those companies looking
for a cost-effective system phone to compliment the
enhanced maximiser features. Supporting Power
over Ethernet (PoE) options, the PCS 100 also
features an in-built 10/100Mbps two port LAN switch,
to maximise existing LAN cabling infrastructure -and
minimise costs The provision of Quality of Service
support ensures that voice quality is preserved in
converged voice & data network environments. As
such, the PCS 100 is the answer to those who require
a "traditional" system phone, designed to deliver
optimum price/performance, which simultaneously
offers all of the advantages associated with IP
connectivity. |

PCS10 & PCS 5
For many businesses the analogue telephone still has
a significant role to play and is likely to for many
years to come - support for this type of phone in
addition to IP handsets is one of maximiser's
many strengths. Developed for SpliceCom to meet the
traditional telephony needs expected of maximiser
system phones, the PCS 10 and PCS 5 provide feature
rich, business quality desktop phones at an
entry-level price. The PCS 10 is extremely easy to
use thanks to its clear display, ten pre-programmed
keys for the most commonly used system functions and
integrated voicemail management keys. Although the
PCS 5 is SpliceCom's entry-level terminal, it too
offers integrated voicemail management keys and
system feature access guide. Both the PCS 10 and PCS
5 can be further energised through "partnering"
SpliceCom's PCS 50, allowing access to advanced
telephony features and convergence with web-enabled
applications. |

PCS50 IP
Softphone
The PCS 50 is the software only version of the
Proactive Communications Station. Compatible with
Windows, Mac OS X and Linux it can be installed on
the User’s desktop or Laptop PC and can be used to
“partner” the PCS 100, PCS 10, PCS 5 or existing
Analogue Phones. Alternatively, when a USB handset,
or headset/microphone – or even a Bluetooth headset
in the case of the Mac OS X variant - is connected
to the PC it can be used as an IP Softphone.
